Summer Necklace

Last year, for my calculus class, I made a "summer necklace" that I found on one of my favorite websites, cutoutandkeep. After a few modifications, I ended up with a similar shape, but completely different materials. Instead of pearls, my beads are a mixture of wooden textured beads and smaller plastic auburn beads. The necklace turned out beautifully, exactly how I wished. However, I have not worn it since then. I cannot find anything that would look good with it, clothing wise. Does any one have any ideas? It's a rather high necklace, so it looks odd with anything too low cut, however, I don't think it would go well with a t-shirt, because the necklace is too pretty for a slacker tee.
